Nóra Németh

Nóra Németh was born 27th February 1985 in Szombathely, Hungary. She received her first violin lesson at the age of 6 in the local music school. She graduated in Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest under Vilmos Szabadi (2003-2009). From 2008 she was a student of International Chamber Music Institute , Madrid, in the class of Ralf Gothóni (chamber music with piano) and Günter Pichler (string quartet). During this period she worked together with such professors as Walter Levin, Menahem Pressler, Ferenc Rados, Valentin Erben among others, and won 1st prize of Montserrat Alavedra Chamber music Competition (2010).
2010-2011 she formed part of prof. Ana Chumachenko’s class in Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia.
Between 2011-2013, she worked in Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra (Spain). In 2013 she won a place in her hometown where she became an assistant concertmaster. Since 2016 she forms part of the Hungarian State Opera orchestra, where she became leader of 2nd violin section in 2017.
